Bought these because we have about 900 lf of pasture fence to put up. These are rough sawn oak 4x4 posts and 1" thick (true dimension) 1x6's. Was concerned about how they would perform with wood that was so hard. I didn't even need to pre-drill these! They plowed right through w/o hesitation. Super impressed!
