Inspect and measure mounting area prior to purchase - Latch needs a 4-1/2" wide surface to attach to
Dimensions: Mounting plates are Each ~ 3/16" in thickness and measure ~4" x ~4-1/2" - See graphics
Latches are adjustable from 7/8" to 2-3/8" gap between gates - Minimum of 7/8" gap required
Latch Width: Minimum 8-7/8" to Maximum 10-3/8" - Heavy Duty Latch weight: 4.24 pounds
Wrap around mounting plate allows for screws to be installed into side and front of mounts
Latch opens from one side of gate - great latch for dumpsters where they are opened from one side
In most cases when installing this latch on a double gate a drop rod is not needed.
